Custom Product Fit and Function Guarantee & Return Policy

Ride Custom Cushions and Backs

Ride Designs is committed to the success and quality of its products; therefore, we promise to manufacture all products according to the specifications on the original product order form and ensure satisfactory fit and function. To uphold this promise, all Ride Custom Products come with a 180-day Fit and Function Guarantee, effective from the product’s initial shipping date and expiring 180 days thereafter.

If a product does not meet our customer’s needs, Ride Designs will work with the customer’s dealer to modify and adjust the product to achieve a desirable outcome. If modifications are unsuccessful, Ride Designs will decide if a remake is appropriate. If so, we will provide a remake, or the dealer may return the product for a 50% credit. If a remake is approved, Ride Designs will remake the product at no charge within the first 90 days or at 50% of the dealer’s cost between 91-180 days.

For a remake, Ride Designs Customer Service must be contacted for prior approval and a return authorization. Remake approvals are at the sole discretion of Ride Designs. Changes in customer condition, including but not limited to weight fluctuations or surgical interventions, do not qualify for the Fit and Function Guarantee. Dealer delays or requests submitted after 180 days will not be accommodated.

Ride Custom Products may be returned for a 50% credit at any time during the 180-day guarantee period. Returns will only be accepted with a Return Authorization Number provided by Ride Designs Customer Service.

Multiple Cushions or Backs from the Same Shape

Ride Designs uses an orthotic and prosthetic approach to custom wheelchair seating.  Multiple fitting appointments to modify and adjust the seating may be necessary to achieve the optimal outcomes. For this reason, Ride Designs requires individual customer seating systems to be ordered for one application at a time to prove the outcomes are successful, prior to ordering subsequent systems from the same captured shape.  Ride will make an exception and fabricate multiple systems upon the insistence of the supplier; however, only one system will be covered under Ride's Fit and Function Guarantee. Modifications or remakes for the additional seating systems will be done at the expense of the supplier.
