CLINICAL INDICATORS:

Client presents with one of the following indicators:

  • High above knee amputation.

  • Hip disarticulation.

  • Hemipelvectomy.

Accompanied by:

  • Past history of or current pressure ulcer of area of contact with a seating surface.

  • Documented lack of success with mainstream contoured or prefabricated seating components to produce desired outcome.

 

    AND/OR

  • Written evaluation signed by a a health care professional that clearly explains why other seating options are not sufficient.
