CLINICAL INDICATORS:

• Limited sitting tolerance (During a 24 hour period, time spent out of wheelchair is greater than in wheelchair).

• Lack of constructive postural support out of wheelchair. Postural deformity that can not be supported by prefabricated alternative positioning devices.

• Written evaluation signed by a a health care professional that clearly explains why other seating options are not sufficient.
